CPRG Funding Opportunities
Illinois is continuing to advance its Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) implementation funding and developing the state’s Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP). Currently, applications are open for Community Geothermal Planning + Pilots grants, with Phase One proposals due by February 13, 2026, at 5:00 PM CT. Energy Efficiency Grants for Housing Assistance Properties
Illinois EPA has launched two new funding opportunities to support energy efficiency at properties that serve residents receiving housing assistance. The Energy Efficiency Assessment (EEA) Program supports evaluations of energy use at properties. The Energy Efficiency Trust Fund (EETF) Program helps implement upgrades identified through those assessments. Funding awards will be issued on a firstcome, first-serve basis for both programs, and will remain open until funding is depleted or until March 31, 2026 for the EEA program, or until June 30, 2026 for the EETF program. Electric Vehicle Rebate
The Illinois EPA will open the next Electric Vehicle Rebate application cycle on October 28, 2025. The rebate application cycle will close on January 31, 2026. The Application and Instructions are available on the EV Rebate webpage.
