Environmental Education

The Office of Education educates Illinois' residents of all ages on environmental issues to foster stewardship and awareness.

Education is a key step in environmental progress and change. Illinois EPA believes it is important to teach environmental stewardship at a young age so that children can bring that awareness into adulthood. We also educate teenagers and adults on environmental issues and the ways that they can contribute, big or small.
