About the Office
The Illinois EPA Office of Energy advances energy efficiency, resilience, and clean energy initiatives across Illinois through strategic public-private partnerships and interagency collaboration. Office of Energy initiatives are funded through state and federal programs including the US Department of Energy and US Environmental Protection Agency.
The Office of Energy regularly collaborates with multiple state agencies, universities, state energy offices, and more to ensure that programs are complementary, funding gaps are addressed, and resources are deployed effectively without duplication.
