The Illinois EPA has issued a Red Forecast Air Pollution Action Day for Friday, July 17th for Rockford and all 6 Chicago area sectors. This is in addition to downgrade of the ongoing Action Day to a Purple Forecast Air Pollution Action Day in effect today. Visit www.AirNow.gov to stay up to date on current conditions.

FSRS values community input. Public comments are an important part of our decision-making process. Public comment is required for Proposed Plans and we often solicit public comment in support of Five-Year Reviews and site remedy modifications.
