Federal Mercury Programs

The Northeast Waste Management Officials Association (NEWMOA) maintains a database of mercury reduction programs in the US. NEWMOA maintains information on mercury reduction legislation in the US and has model mercury reduction legislation.  

The Product Stewardship Institute (PSI) works with a variety of stakeholders to develop and promote producer responsibility for consumer products. PSI has done work on a number of  mercury-containing products.
