Stakeholder Engagement Meetings: Comprehensive Climate Action Plan
Public Hearings
The State of Illinois is seeking input to develop Illinois’ Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (“CCAP”).
Illinois EPA will host seven public meetings (6 in-person and 1 virtual) to inform the public about elements of the CCAP and answer questions. The meeting times are listed below. We are also seeking the public’s input into the CCAP.
The CCAP is an actionable roadmap for climate that reflects our unique situation in Illinois, provides additional benefits outside of climate to our people and communities where possible, and incorporates feedback from the public and various stakeholders. This plan builds on the Priority Climate Action Plan (“PCAP”) the state released in 2024, and on the state’s ongoing work to implement its Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (“CPRG”).
Your priorities, thoughts, and feedback will help make this plan better and guide what our state does next to advance clean energy and address the climate crisis.
